“There is a tide in the affairs of men … on such a full sea we are now afloat …”
Opportunity’s knocking … the window’s open, but closing … seize the moment … these phrases echo the critical nature of timely action, what Shakespeare’s character understood all too well.
Cru staff and students understand it too. Northeast campuses are about to be flooded with 18-year-olds leaving home to begin life on their own. For many, the next few days will determine the trajectory of their future.
That’s why Cru staff and students, knowing the fleeting nature of this “tide,” organize pizza parties, BBQs and outings, in hopes of steering these freshmen away from that which steals, kills and destroys and into the abundant life God has for them. (John 10:10)
Erva joined a men’s Bible Study, then checked out the weekly Cru meeting, intrigued by the worship experience there. A short while later, after reflecting on James 4, Erva put His trust in God, giving control of his life to Him.
Next week, Erva will be the one inviting new students to white water rafting outings and to give God control of their lives.
Special Thanks To You!
Without your partnership, these strategic initiatives wouldn’t be possible. Jesus put it this way: “Work, for the night is coming …” (John 9:4)
We think you’ll appreciate this personal expression of thanks from Joy to you!
"Thank you so, so much from the bottom of my heart. You have no idea how much it means that you choose to invest in Cru and therefore you choose to invest in me."
